Testing flours, doughs and machines

We have had confirmation that our 3-Phase Power will be installed on February 3rd, and that our deck bread oven will be installed on February 7th… and so now we’re planning the Grand Opening for our Bakery & Shop - on February 10th. Until then, we had thought that we’d offer a few loaves for sale with some limited production before our big ovens arrive, but we can get much more done without having pesky customers to deal with then cleaning up when we’re done. Meanwhile we’re practicing our bakes fine-tuning our equipment and setting up our order forms.

Next week hopefully, we’ll offer our first 100 sign-ups for a weekly loaf, so that folks in the neighbourhood can be sure to get theirs. We’ll have packages for organic basics; bread, butter, milk and eggs say… And another for pastries and coffee.
